If you follow me on social media, you probably know that I received a formal notice from my landlady to get rid of my cat. Shocked and offended to receive this without her even speaking to me, and seeing that she persists in asserting her rules, I decided to move and I never want to deal with this landlord ever again. We were lucky and privileged to find a new apartment and we have the means to move... but I saw how dramatic the situation is right now with the housing crisis and I know that this is not the case for everyome. Not everyone can afford the luxury (yes, yes, it's a luxury now) of moving. So I think of these people who are possibly in the same situation as me, and who have no choice but to give up their pet to survive. In addition, more than one animal per day is abandoned due to moving. I am doing a little fundraising through the sale of these posters; 50% of the profits will go to the SPCA and/or COM Chatons Orphelins Montréal (you can specify the organization you want to support in the notes).
